MVP Basketball Camp
Work with MVP Basketball Camp
Although many of MVP’s experienced coaches come back year after year, there is an ongoing need to bring in quality, local coaches who have a passion for coaching and working with kids. MVP hires coaches who are in college or have graduated college and have multiple years of coaching/teaching experience. Coaches pay is commensurate with experience.
To apply for a coaching position, please fill out the Coach Application Form and follow the directions on the bottom of the form.
MVP also offers seasonal employment opportunities for support staff at camp, handling duties ranging from setting up temporary baskets and serving lunch to helping coaches supervise campers. High school students may also volunteer at MVP and earn hourly credits towards community service hours.
To apply for support staff positions, either paid or volunteer, please fill out the Employee and Volunteer Application Form and follow the directions on the bottom of the form. You must be sixteen years of age for any paid positions, but younger candidates may seek volunteer opportunities.
MVP occasionally offers year-round part-time employment opportunities to local teachers and coaches through our community partner, Backyard Sports. For more info on non-summer coaching employment opportunities, please contact Dillon@byardsports.com
Volunteer
Junior Board of Directors
MVP offers plenty of opportunities for current and former campers to get involved. Its Junior Board currently features local high school students who volunteer their time during the school year to help MVP raise money for camp scholarships.
Some of these students also volunteer during the summer and gain valuable experience while doing something they love. Limited paid internships/CIT opportunities are also available for students 16 and older. MVP’s internship/CIT program is funded under the umbrella of its Youth Development Scholarship Program.
