Work with MVP Basketball Camp

Although most of MVP’s experienced coaches come back year after year, there is an occasional need to bring on additional coaches on a week by week basis during the summer. All MVP coaches have completed high school and many are college graduates with year-round teaching and/or coaching experience. All coaches are paid as Independent Contractors.

To apply for a coaching position, fill out the MVP Coach Vital Statistics Form and follow the directions on the bottom of the form.

MVP also offers a limited number of seasonal employment opportunities for support staff at camp, handling duties ranging from setting up temporary baskets and serving lunch to answering phones, maintaining the camper database, and helping to supervise campers.

To apply for support staff positions, fill out the MVP Employee Application Form and follow the directions on the bottom of the form. You must be sixteen years of age for paid positions but younger candidates may seek volunteer positions.

Junior Board of Directors

MVP offers plenty of opportunities for current and former campers to get involved. Its Junior Board currently features 16 high school students who volunteer their time during the school year to help MVP raise money for camp scholarships.

Some of these students also volunteer for an entire week at summer camp and gain valuable experience while doing something they love. Limited paid internships are also available. MVP's intern program is funded under the umbrella of its Youth Development Scholarship Program.
