NBA All-Star Donovan Mitchell Returns to MVP Basketball Camp
On Thursday, July 21, 2022, Donovan Mitchell returned to the place where he first started playing basketball, MVP Basketball Camp, in White Plains. He addressed 200 campers, just after lunch, and told them that he was a baseball player for most of his childhood but “I found my love for the game at MVP.”
Join Our Team
Although many of MVP’s experienced coaches come back year after year, there is an ongoing need to bring in quality, local coaches who have a passion for coaching and working with kids. MVP hires coaches who are in college or have graduated college and have multiple years of coaching/teaching experience.
Make An Assist
Stan Greene founded MVP Basketball Camp as a 501(c)(3) organization offering hundreds of scholarships annually. He was fond of saying, “the world may be better because you were important in the life of a child.” More than twenty-five years and 7,500 scholarships later, Stan’s vision is still at the core of MVP’s Mission. Will you help?
